ABOUT YIY

YIY was initiated by a group of young people in 2003, with Thai RuralNet, Civicnet Institute and National Council for Youth Development (NCYD) as the main advisors and funded by UNICEF, FAO, Knowledge Network Institute of Thailand (KNIT) and Thai Health Promotion Fund (THPF).

We have faith in youth potential to make a difference. Consequently YIY goal is to promote youth participation and support young people to become young social entrepreneurs, through campaigning and providing a support system.

Vision

Thai youth actively participate in volunteer activities for self and social development simultaneously 

Mission

Build up culture and opportunities for young people to volunteer in their own ways and facilitate to set up other support systems to promote youth participation.

Target group

Youth 15-25 years old throughout the country
